A tour of the NEW TravelHunters

Over the years, TravelHunters.com has been visited by nearly 1 million travelers. Travel Hunters began as a simple way to share travel deals with family and friends, and with the support of all you 'Travel Hunters' - it has grown by leaps and bounds. One thing's for sure - Travel Hunters has never lost the focus of providing you with the best deals from around the web. There was a time that we would manually edit EVERY deal on the site - but with new technology - we are able to have our favorites automatically update - in REAL TIME - 24 hours a day! What this means to you, is that the deals will be up-to-date and you will always have access to the late-breaking specials that pop up very quickly.

We thought we'd introduce you to the new changes by giving you a little tour:

First, go to http://www.travelhunters.com/

You'll notice a bunch of links on the left-hand side. Click on any of these links, and the deals will automatically update after you click on the link. If you click "Hawaii", you're sure to find the latest vacation package deals to the various islands.

Second, you'll find a new booking interface, where you can search for flights, hotels, vacation packages, and even activities. Play around with this for a while, and you'll soon discover that there are amazing prices on vacation packages worldwide. Just a few tips to help you save a TON of money! Try picking off-peak times. For example - now is the perfect time to plan a vacation to Europe! The lines are dwindling, and many museums and attractions charge much less in the Fall/Winter. Some even stop charging fees in order to have the 'locals' come out. If you don't like the price - try changing your departure and arrival dates by a few days. Keep playing around until you find that ultimate bargain. Another technique to finding a great deal is to find an emerging destination - one that hasn't quite become mainstream, but is rapidly gaining in popularity. Airlines and hotels may be offering great incentives to try to boost the numbers of visitors to that destination.

Third, in the main body of the site - you'll find constantly updating deals from our parent company - CheapCaribbean, as well as from Sherman's Travel and the awesome BookingWiz! I really want you to look at the deals from CheapCaribbean. Check out the prices, and you'll quickly discover why CheapCaribbean is the KING of packaging to the Caribbean and Mexico.

Finally, discover some of the other fun aspects of the NEW TravelHunters. You can sign up for our newsletter, visit our sister site's active travel forum at CaribbeanHotDeals.com and more.

We hope you have fun exploring the new TravelHunters website. Remember at Travel Hunters - we're "Hunting Down the Best Travel Bargains on the Planet!"

DailyDynamiteDeal.com launched

A cool new website was recently launched called DailyDynamiteDeal.com. The site features a "Deal of the Day", available for booking online only, which is chosen from among the hundreds of deals found at CheapCaribbean.com. Deals are chosen for an extraordinary savings opportunity (up to 70% less than most competitors) and/or the inclusion of complimentary or discounted add-ons such as excursions, room upgrades, services, amenities, etc. TravelHunters is now part of the CheapCaribbean network, and we could not be more happy to have joined this wonderful group of deal finding websites. Each day, I receive a new DailyDynamiteDeal in my inbox, and am astounded by the price! So, if you have a chance - check it out!

2006 Hurricane Season

Just ran across a very useful article concerning the 2006 hurricane season. It's real easy to get caught up in the media hype concerning hurricanes, but I really recommend reading the products at NOAA's National Hurricane Center for a more balanced approach. The hurricane center simply puts out facts and information concerning a Tropical Depression, Tropical Storm or Hurricane. Arming yourself with fair and balanced information can often put your mind at ease concerning your travel plans. The article I'm referring to is at BudgetTravelOnline.com. Many sites now include Hurricane Insurance in the price of their packages, so your mind can be at ease when booking a fall vacation in the Caribbean/Mexico.I also highly recommend reading an article by the President of CheapCaribbean, which provides great information for anyone planning a trip to the Caribbean or Mexico during hurricane season.
